At 9:57 a.m., police responded to the school on a reported threat, Eric Amato, public information officer for the Bayonne Police Department said. After conducting an investigating, officers determined it to be a swatting incident, Amato said.
There was no safety threat to students, faculty member or the general pubic, Amato said. The 15-year-old was apprehended following an investigation and was charged with making false public alarms, Amato said
